Who we are

Psych Connect Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider based in Springfield Central, Queensland. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect on this website

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, whether you are a participant, family member, carer, support coordinator or plan manager, the support you are interested in, how the plan is managed, and your suburb or postcode.

The enquiry form does not ask for health information. Please don't include medical details in your enquiry; we'll talk about your needs when we call you.

Why we collect it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, talk with you about NDIS supports and, if you choose, arrange services with you.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is emailed to our team and is only seen by staff who need it to help you. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We only disclose it to others, such as your support coordinator or plan manager, with your agreement or where the law requires or allows it.

How we keep it safe

Enquiries are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection and stored in our business email system, with access limited to authorised staff. If you don't become a client, we delete enquiries we no longer need.

If you become a client

Information we hold as part of your supports, including health information, is managed under our client privacy and record-keeping practices, which we explain when you start with us.

This website, analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website, for example how many people visit, which pages they view, roughly where they are (city level), what device they use and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies. It does not receive your name, phone number, email address or the other details you type into the enquiry form. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also measure how the page is used so we can make it easier to use: for example which sections are viewed and for how long, how far visitors scroll, which buttons are tapped, and which form fields are started or left unfinished. We never record what you type. Some visitors see a slightly different version of the page (for example a different headline) so we can compare which works better, and some are asked one optional multiple-choice question about their visit. Your browser remembers which version you saw and whether you answered, using local storage. If you arrive from one of our ads, your browser also remembers that for 30 days, along with a click code from OpenAI, so an enquiry you send later can be counted towards that ad. It stores only that you came from an ad, the click code and the date, not who you are.

When you send an enquiry, we keep a short summary on our own web hosting for reporting: the date, the support you chose, whether you're a participant, family member or professional, how your plan is managed, which part of our website you used, your general area (worked out from your postcode), and a reference number. It does not include your name, phone number or email address.

If our email can't be reached at the moment you send your enquiry, your enquiry, including your contact details, is kept securely on our web hosting, seen only by authorised staff, until our team has it, and then deleted within 30 days.

When you send an enquiry, our website and our server also tell our advertising partner OpenAI (ChatGPT ads) that an enquiry was made, with the click code if there is one, so we can measure how well our ads work. We do not share your contact details or the content of your enquiry with OpenAI. OpenAI's measurement code sets first-party cookies on this website.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, where people tap and scroll (heatmaps) and to replay anonymous visits so we can find parts of the page that are confusing. Clarity is set to hide all text on the page and everything you type, so it never captures your name, contact details or enquiry. Clarity uses cookies and works out a rough location from your internet connection. Microsoft's privacy statement is at privacy.microsoft.com.

We also keep our own simple record of where on this page people tap and how far they scroll, so we can make it easier to use. It records which part of the page was tapped (for example the Call button) and roughly where on it, the type and width of the screen, which version of the page was shown, and whether the visit came from our ChatGPT ads or elsewhere. It never records what you type, your name, contact details or internet (IP) address, and it doesn't use cookies. A random code groups the taps from one visit and is forgotten when you leave the page. This information stays on our own web hosting and is combined into daily totals after 90 days.

For the same reason we record, for each visit, how long the page took to appear, how long it stayed on screen, how far it was scrolled and whether a call or enquiry followed, with the same random code and the same limits. This helps us see whether the page loads quickly enough for people arriving from our ads. It is deleted after 180 days.

Our web host automatically keeps a short technical log of each request (internet address, time, page, the site you came from, browser type) on servers in the United States. We analyse it only on the server, in summary, to tell automated traffic from real visits; we never copy or keep internet addresses. For each visit we also note a few broad technical facts (whether the page opened in the background, browser type in groups, touch screen or not, a rough processor count, whether the visit came from an ad link).

The page also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when the page opens.
